Your reflections

The mobile app saves your reflections, unfinished draft, choices, next steps and preferences in local storage on your device. We do not receive your journal text or send it to RevenueCat, an analytics service or an AI service. The core journal does not require an Evenkeep account.

Your device’s backup, restore, sharing and security settings can affect where local files are copied and who can access them. Local storage is not a promise of end-to-end encryption or a substitute for securing your device.

Export and deletion

In Settings, choose Export your data to create a file containing your reflections, unfinished draft and preferences. You choose where to save or share it using your device’s sharing controls. The app removes its temporary export file after the sharing step; copies you save or share remain under your control and the destination’s privacy practices.

Use Delete all local data to remove reflections, the draft and preferences from the app on that device. This does not remove exported copies or operating-system backups, cancel a subscription, or delete transaction records held by a store or our billing provider.

Subscriptions and billing

On iOS, purchases are handled by Apple. Evenkeep uses RevenueCat to check subscription access, load available plans, process purchase and restore requests, and report subscription activity. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app subscription identifier and purchase history, including product and transaction details and subscription status. Billing services also process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services.

Evenkeep does not send journal text, your name or your email address to RevenueCat. We disable automatic device-identifier collection in the billing SDK and do not use advertising-attribution integrations. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

See Apple’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy for their processing practices. Android purchase availability and any additional billing disclosures will be updated before paid Android features are released.

Advertising and analytics

Evenkeep has no advertising or cross-app advertising trackers. We do not sell your reflections. RevenueCat provides subscription reporting; it does not receive the content of your journal. The app does not include a journal-content analytics or session-replay service.

Website reflection

The reflection demonstration on this website keeps text only in the open page’s memory. It does not save a journal, send that text to a server, or create an account. Clear, reload or close the page to reset the demonstration. Browser extensions and other software on your device may be able to read page content.

Cloudflare hosts the website and may process request information such as IP address, requested page, time, browser information, and security or error events to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The site has no newsletter, waitlist, advertising, or payment form.

Support, retention and your choices

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond, resolve your request and maintain necessary support records. Please do not send private reflection text. Support information is kept for as long as needed for those purposes and applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Local app data remains until you delete it or remove the app, subject to your device’s backup and restore behavior. Billing records follow the retention requirements and practices of Apple and RevenueCat. These providers may process information in countries other than your own.

For privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete information we hold, contact [email protected]. We may need information to verify and locate your request. We cannot retrieve reflections that have stayed solely on your device. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, request portability or complain to a data-protection authority.

Children and changes

Evenkeep is intended for people aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact the address above. We will update this notice if our data practices change, and explain material changes before introducing features that send reflection content off your device.
